Rooms are a core building block in Nooks. You can join a room by clicking the "Join" button on any of the rooms in "Room List" side panel on the right side of your screen. Once you join a room, you can choose a face nook for other people to see and hear you.
The room list is on the left. Hover over a room and click "Join" to join it
Your browser will prompt you to enable your microphone and camera. You must press "Allow".

You will be prompted to either "Watch" or "Join". Join puts you in a face nook and shares your video and audio with other people in the room.
If you decide to watch, you can always join later by hovering a face nook and clicking it.
